I can’t believe it’s DECEMBER already! This year went by incredibly fast — I honestly don’t know how. Do any of you feel this way too?? Every year goes by faster and faster! My dad once told me that the older you get, the faster time flies…maybe that’s it. Anyway, as it is my first December with my blog, I decided I will participate in Blogmas!

What is Blogmas?

I had to research this a bit and found that Blogmas is basically where you write a post every day in December. People do posts for the first twelve days of December, some for 24 days, and some for the full 31.

I decided to sign up for the 31 days because…why not? I’ll admit that I don’t have the best discipline when it comes to writing on Bad with Directions, and I believe Blogmas will be a challenge.

A good challenge. One that will allow me to get more creative and to actually hold myself up to writing consistently. It looks tough though!

What will I write about?

Blogmas however is very Christmas-focused, and I am not 100% into Christmas…(gasp! I know… shocker haha). But it also doesn’t help that I will not be celebrating the holidays with my family this year – so sad! So I will make a lot of the posts either holiday/winter related or about ending a year and starting a new one.

This holiday season will be spent between Barcelona and London, so hopefully it will be special in its own way!

So… to all of those who are participating in Blogmas, or even Vlogmas, I wish you all the best of luck in completing it – be if for 12, 24, or the full 31 days. I look forward to reading other posts and to learn about how people celebrate their holidays!
